- Order Processing
- Judith Altman Designs strives to package and ship all items within 2-3 days of your order being placed. In the rare instance that there is a delay, Judith Altman Designs will ship as soon as possible within 3 weeks. If you want to know the status of your order, please email us by using the CONTACT button and we will gladly let you know where things are.
Unless other arrangements have been made, all orders are shipped via UPS Ground (cannot ship to PO Boxes). If you need a rush shipment, please email us through the CONTACT button and we can discuss how to get your purchase to you faster. If you wish an order to be shipped outside the United States, please contact us for shipping costs and information before you place your order.
All orders shipped to residents of North Carolina will be charged sales tax.
- Refunds and Repairs
- Your satisfaction is very important to us. We certainly hope that you are happy with your purchase, but in the event that you do wish to return or exchange it, we will accept timely returns of items mailed back to us within 14 days of receipt. Please CONTACT us to arrange returns and exchanges and to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number. No refunds are given without an RA number. We will exchange the item, or credit your credit card for the full amount, less initial shipping and handling costs, once we have received your shipment. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We do not accept returns or exchanges under any circumstances for custom items (including resizing), sale items, or items not in their original, saleable condition. For your protection, please carefully package all returns in a hard walled box, and ship with insurance.
We are sorry but Judith Altman Designs jewelry purchased through other retailers are not returnable to this online store, and items purchased online are not returnable to any of our retailers.
We take great pride in the quality of our jewelry; however, in the event that your Judith Altman Designs jewelry becomes damaged from normal wear or during shipment, we will repair it for free within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, we will gladly repair it for a small material fee plus shipping, based on the availability of materials.

- Handcrafted gemstone jewelry may be delicate and should be handled with care. Always put on your jewelry after you have used products such as hairspray and perfume. Store flat, and avoid sharp crimping of necklaces and bracelets. It is best to store jewelry with metal components in an airtight bag, as this will slow down the tarnishing process. Please do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners, as most stones cannot withstand this. A soft cloth or silver polish cloth work well.

- Judith Altman Designs will not rent, share or sell customer information to others. Customer information is used for the sole purpose of processing orders, and on occasion to notify the customer of sales opportunities.
